Welcome to Mr. Fergus' Web Page
I am the Instructional Technology Teacher at John Bullen Middle School. We work hard to prepare children to aquire the intellectual and social skills they will need as they enter their future work and life.
Some of the skills that students will need are "the love of learning" (their lives and careers will continually be changing), "collaborative skills" (students will need to not only to be able to work with others but with people from other cultures and nations), and to become an "information worker" (using data and information in creative and an imaginative ways). Our children's work life will be challenging and will demand an education that guides them and challenges them to be thoughtful and flexible in their approach to their life.
The following links discuss what skills students will need to prepare themselves for the future.
